International Fest 2026
May 9th 2-5PM
The International Fest 2026 is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible diversity of our community, foster cultural understanding, and create a vibrant, family-friendly event that brings us all together.
We are proud to have 62 nationalities within our student body, along with a few additional nationalities represented by parents. To make this event a success, we aim to have at least a minimum of 15 nationalities. If we do not reach that number signed up by 13 of March, the event will unfortunately be canceled. Therefore, we encourage you to represent your nationality, sign up early, and join the celebration!
How to Sign Up and Participate
Note: If you are unable to represent a nationality but would like to volunteer to assist with setup, event coordination, or cleanup, please contact psg@caislisbon.org.
Participation Requirements
Nationalities (represented by one or more families) should commit to the following:
1. Decorating a Space in the Gym
- Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Each nationality must decorate at least one table with items representing their country. You may include games, cultural materials, traditional outfits, posters, and other items that showcase your culture.
- Spaces will be assigned upon sign-up. Families will receive a confirmation email with details about their booth location by March 20th.
2. Footwear Requirements
- This year’s event will be held in the gym. Therefore, all participants must wear tennis shoes.
3. Food Preparation
- Food cannot be prepared on the spot but you can keep warm on-site, as there will be outlets available.
- Please ensure that all food items are clearly labeled, especially if they contain common allergens such dairy, or gluten or nuts.
4. Drinks
- The PSG will be selling beverages, including coffee and tea.
- If there are culturally significant drinks you would like to offer as small tasting samples, you may do so. However, full-size drink portions may not be distributed. Please note that alcohol is not permitted on campus.
5. Auction Basket
- Each nationality can prepare one basket for auction.
- The basket does not need to be expensive but should be culturally meaningful, desirable, and not readily available in Portugal.
- Auction items must be ready for display by April 24th.
- Proceeds from the auction will help cover PSG event costs.
6. Entertainment and Media
- Entertainment (e.g., performances or videos) can be part of your booth.
- Performance length: 5–7 minutes.
- Video length: 1-minute maximum.
- Families must inform the PSG of any planned entertainment, including technical or equipment needs, by March 27th at psg@caislisbon.org.
- All entertainment (performances and videos) must be finalized by April 22th. No additions may be made after this date.
7. Safety Regulations
- Pyrotechnics, smoke effects, torches, and any items that could compromise safety are strictly prohibited.
8. Shared Booths
- There may not be multiple booths representing the same nationality. Families representing the same country must collaborate to create one shared booth.
- Countries with smaller representation may join together to share a space, especially if they are from the same region.
9. Sign-Up Process
- To sign up, fill out this form.
- The deadline for sign-ups is March 13th at midnight.
