Welcome to CAISL! Use the arrows on either side to explore this photo tour of our campus.
Our Early Childhood and Kindergarten classes feature dedicated spaces for learning, their own bathrooms, and easy access to the playground. At this age, children are guided by two homeroom teachers as well as specialty teachers for Art, Music, and Physical Education.
Our Main Library houses over 40,000 books in both English and Portuguese. In addition to print books, our Library Media Center offers e-books and other digital resources. Elementary and Secondary students visit the library regularly, and parents are welcome to do so as well.
Our campus consists of two buildings. The Main Building contains classrooms and libraries, while the Fine Arts Building includes the cafeteria and snack bar, theater, music and art rooms, and gymnasium.
Our classrooms are spacious, bright, and designed with flexibility to enhance learning.
From preschool to high school, students actively engage in their learning. CAISL employs a hands-on teaching approach, supported by small class sizes and dedicated teachers.
CAISL features two AstroTurf soccer fields: one regulation-sized and one smaller, designed for our younger athletes. These fields are utilized for Physical Education classes, after-school sports, and as a playground area during lunch breaks.
Just across the hallway from the Elementary school, you'll find our Secondary school, which is divided into Middle School (Grades 6–8) and High School (Grades 9–12). Both the Middle and High School atriums feature spaces where students can work independently while remaining close to their teachers.
Middle and High School classes are longer, lasting 90 minutes, to allow ample time for practicing what is taught each day. Teachers work closely with students during class and after school. Each teacher holds office hours on a designated day, providing students with an opportunity to ask questions and seek additional support.
In our Fine Arts and Gym Building, we have rooms dedicated to the Arts, which are an integral part of the students' curriculum. Preschool through Grade 5 use the Elementary Music room. In Grade 5, students also participate in Orchestra and Choir as part of their music program. Choir and Orchestra continue as elective subjects in Secondary, each with its own dedicated space.
Visual Art is part of the Elementary curriculum and an elective subject in Secondary. Students' colorful artwork can be seen throughout the campus.
Students have multiple opportunities to showcase their talents in our Theater. Elementary students participate in two major concerts each year, while Secondary students who choose electives like Orchestra, Choir, Musical Theater, or Drama also perform on stage.
Secondary students can choose from a variety of elective classes, including languages (Spanish and French) and technology-focused electives, such as robotics.
Our preschoolers, first, and second graders have their own playground area, featuring age-appropriate equipment, a soccer field, and a natural grass area, all designed to promote healthy play and social interactions.
