Dear Parents,

Thank you to all of the parents who attended the Fine Arts Festival and World Language Night. Your support helps make these events a success.

CAISL ROBOTICS TEAM TAKES FIRST PLACE

In their first competition, the CAISL robotics team won the top prize in the design competition at the FIRST Lego Robotics Competition in Tagus Park last weekend. Congratulations to our young engineers.

FINAL EXAMS

Students begin their exams on Tuesday, June 13th. Students who do not have an exam are not required to attend school. A schedule for the exam period can be found here.

BANCO ALIMENTAR

CAISL students working at the Lidl in Alcoitão collected 3 tons of food for those in need. Thank you to all of the parents who supported this initiative.

FINE ARTS FESTIVAL

Congratulations to all of the students who performed in the Fine Arts Festival. The sheer range of talent on display at the Fine Arts Festival was staggering. The private link to the YouTube video of the event can be found here.

PSG MEETING

The Parent Support Group (PSG) sponsored the Bake Sale on the Fine Arts Festival. It was successful thanks to the dedication and support from many parents who contributed with baked goods and time – thank you all. The PSG will have one last meeting before the end of the school year on Tuesday, June 6th. All Parents are invited.

CAISL WORLD MAP

Is your family going somewhere special this Summer break? If so, don't forget to take a CAISL logo item with you. Pictures you take wearing CAISL gear in front of a landmark can be printed and posted on the World Map at the entrance of the school – please send them to community.relations@caislisbon.org.

HEALTH FORMS REMINDER FOR GRADES 1, 4, 7 & 10

If your child will enter one of these grades and is returning next year, please submit the "CAISL Health Form" which needs to be filled out by a medical doctor. Forms may now be submitted for the upcoming school year. At the start of the next school year, students in the specified grades who do not have the updated health form will not be permitted to participate in PE classes, after-school activities or off-site field trips. Forms may be handed in at the front desk or emailed to admissions@caislisbon.org and you should keep a copy for your records.
