Thank you for visiting the Admissions’ pages online.  CAISL practices the American philosophy of education, focusing on celebrating children’s strengths while helping them overcome their difficulties.  The only American school in Portugal, CAISL blends the best from the United States model of education with the best from a variety of national systems.  All classes place a premium on communicating effectively and on developing skills that help students become life-long learners. 

CAISL is composed of four schools within one campus.  Early Childhood (3, 4, and 5 year olds), the Elementary School (Grades 1-5), Middle School (Grades 6,7,and 8) and High School (Grades 9-12).  Current enrollment is 550.
