CAISL Orchestra Hosts Mad Hatter Tea Party
On Wednesday, February 24th, 2010 the CAISL Orchestra students performed in the first ever “Mad Hatter Orchestra Tea Party.” This was a fun night of performances by both CAISL orchestras, in addition to several performances by soloists and small chamber ensembles. A variety of music was on the program – everything from Handel to The Black Eyed Peas, Beethoven to Cold Play. Featured soloists were 6th Graders João Francês on bass and Maria Mira on violin, and 7th Grader Paola Kossakowski on cello. The evening was a huge success! Thanks to Ms. Dawn for her Mad Hatter-themed artwork and to Ms. Edenfield for bringing out the best in our young musicians.
