Director´s Message Welcome to CAISL! I am proud of our school and glad you have decided to visit us on-line. We at CAISL take seriously our responsibility to ensure that each student is welcomed and valued, and, at the same time, challenged with an academically demanding curriculum. We strive to help students feel accepted and to accept themselves and each other. We do not want students to get intellectually "comfortable." Academic achievement is not accomplished by those who are comfortable. It is accomplished by those who are always striving and questioning and demanding the best, both of themselves and of those around them. This is the atmosphere we work to create. Supporting its mission, CAISL will educate school-aged dependents of the national and international communities residing in the Lisbon area. The multi-cultural, multilingual make-up of the CAISL student body is an asset and a resource for enriching the lives of all students.
